Candidasa is one of the traveler destination in the east of Bali, however, have much less popular than other beach spots on the southern of the island. However hesitate to visit because the place has many things to offer without making you feeling bored on the way.

Tenganan village well-known for their “Pandanus leaf war” or Perang Pandan which an annual event that held in the middle of Tenganan village.This village also well-known for its double-woven cloth known as the Ikat Geringsing which believes to have magical powers.

Visit Samuh village and find the Puri Bagus hotel street and you may find this splendid lawn which hosts massive type of orchids and other tropical flora. The garden is own by Bernd an ecologist from Germany.

This is the mother temple of all temples in Bali. Placed on the slopes of Mount Agung and considered the most sacred temple by the Balinese. Around the Besakih temple found 22 small temples which spread on land over 3 square kilometers. From Candidasa, the street that leads to Besakih temple has amazing surroundings. An ought to visit.
